Primitivo di Manduria 1-983 ages for 6 months in American oak barriques and then further refined in the bottle for a few months.
The wine is characterized by an intense ruby red color with intense violet reflections.
On the nose you will find a fruity bouquet with notes of black cherries and plums.
The fruity character is found on the palate, combined with the pleasant tones of the oak barrels. Thanks to the aging in wood, this Primitivo has a nice full body and very pleasant, soft and supple tannins.
In the finish, harmonious notes of vanilla and cocoa are perceived.
